14 Days Out
- Print luggage tags from cruise line portal
- Arrange transport from airport to port
- Book pre-cruise hotel near port (avoid same-day flights)
- Buy magnetic hooks for stateroom wall storage
Pack
- Power strip without surge protection (most lines allow)
- Lanyard for keycard
- Motion sickness remedy (Bonine is gentler than Dramamine)
- Reef-safe sunscreen
- Formal night outfit if applicable
Day Before
- Charge devices and download offline entertainment
- Photograph passports and cruise docs
- Carry-on day-bag with swimsuit (rooms aren't ready until 1pm)
Embarkation Day
- Arrive at terminal during your assigned check-in window
- Tip porter $1-2 per bag if using curbside drop-off
